KAPPA ALPHA PSI FRATERNITY, INCORPORATED
Our Fraternity History
Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated was founded on January 5th, 1911 on the campus of Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. Our fraternity's motto is "Achievement in every field of human endeavor." The Five Objectives that we strive to uphold are the following: (1) To unite college men of culture, patriotism, and honor in a bond of fraternity; (2) To encourage honorable achievement in every field of human endeavor; (3) To promote the spiritual, social, intellectual, and moral welfare of its members; (4) To assist in the aims and purposes of colleges and universities; and (5) To inspire service in the public interest.
THE DELTA ETA CHAPTER
Our Chapter History
Our chapter was founded on February 11th, 1952 at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The charter is comprised of several schools in the Philadelphia metropolitan area including the University of Pennsylvania, Drexel University, Villanova University, La Salle University, and Arcadia University.

CULTURAL FRATERNITIES ORGANIZED AN EVENT THIS WEEK FOR MEN OF COLOR TO DISCUSS SEXUAL VIOLENCE

We hosted an event in conjunction with Alpha Phi Alpha, Omega Psi Phi, Penn Violence Prevention (PVP), and the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life (OFSL) geared around discussing sexual violence on campus and ways to combat the issue.
PENN'S NAACP DISCUSSES 'TALENTED TENTH'

We partnered with Penn’s NAACP chapter and hosted a discussion on the “talented tenth.” The goal of the event was to allow students to truly comprehend how there is a big difference between the people who are in positions of power and those who are not.
KAPPA ALPHA PSI HONORS LOCAL STUDENT AT BENEFIT BALL
February 16, 2004
We hosted our annual Crimson and Cream Scholarship Ball in which the proceeds from the event went toward a $1000 scholarship for Jermaine Pinckney, a Philadelphia high-school senior at the time who attended the University of Pennsylvania the following year.
